When clients reach out to me inquiring about my nutritionist services, the number one barrier they express to me is that they just don't know where to start and need help.
I can understand why the general public is confused by what eating healthy means and can see why they may feel unsure of where to start. The food industry loves to use lack of consumer knowledge to their benefit. It becomes overwhelming and perplexing when certain products and convenience foods are labeled "health foods", but in actuality some of those products really aren't that healthy... Consumers shouldn't be tricked and taken advantage of by the food industry for their own profitable gain. I'm here to not only help you achieve and sustain your health and weight goals, but also to help you be smarter than the food industry by showing you how to become a more informed grocery shopper and consumer.​

There is really no such thing as
"good" or "bad" foods. Those types of labels shouldn't even exist. Food is simply just a plethora of proteins, carbohydrates, and/or lipids (fat) molecules. All three of those macronutrients (proteins, carbs, fats) are essential to carry out proper bodily functions and energy. Foods also have other essential properties attached to them called, micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) that further enhance our mental/physical health and are needed in order to complete proper bodily functions.
When food is looked at on a molecular level, instead of a "good/bad" or numbers-based level, you'll learn that you truly can have a healthy relationship with all foods. There is room for all of the foods you enjoy within a healthy lifestyle. This is called BALANCE. And we will learn how to master this effortlessly.
When you work with me as your nutritionist, I will be teaching you how to prepare nutritious, balanced, and delicious meals that reflect your food preferences, dietary needs, and your goals.
